Donald Trump Predicts Germany’s Merkel Will ‘Be Out if They Don’t Have A Revolution’
GOP front runner Donald Trump tells Breitbart executive chairman Stephen K. Bannon that Germany’s Angela Merkel is “a catastrophic leader” and that “she’ll be out if they don’t have a revolution.”
On Friday’s Breitbart News Daily radio program, heard on the Sirius-XM Patriot Channel, Trump said, “When you look at Europe, I have friends that live in Germany, they’re leaving. I have friends that are leaving Germany because of what’s happened.” Trump was discussing Merkel’s policy of allowing thousands of unvetted Muslim refugees to come into the country. Merkel is struggling just weeks after being named TIME magazine person of the year.
“You know, what Merkel has done is incredible, it’s actually mind boggling. Everyone thought she was a really great leader and now she’s turned out to be this catastrophic leader. And she’ll be out if they don’t have a revolution,” he continued.
Trump said that all of Europe is turning into “a total disaster” because of unwise immigration policies:
But you look at what’s going on in Brussels and Sweden and all of these countries, it’s a total disaster. The world is a different place. I don’t know what people are thinking, but the world is a different place.
As far as the migration is concerned and the Syrian people, if they come in they are totally unvetted. Nobody knows where they come from. There’s zero documentation.
You look at the lines where you have so many young strong men, very few women and children by comparison, and you say, what’s going on here? Why aren’t they back fighting for their country?
We have a real problem. The world is going crazy.
Trump pointed to this European disaster as evidence to support his immigration policies to build a wall along the southern border and temporarily ban Muslims who are not already citizens or legal residents from entering the United States.
“My immigration policy is necessary if we’re going to have a country,” Trump told Bannon, summing up the essence of his campaign.
