Nigel Farage reveals he feared being ASSASSINATED so stood down as UKIP leader

Nigel Farage stood down as UKIP leader due to fears of being killed, it is claimed.

The right-wing politician announced last week he was resigning after achieving his career ambition of Brexit .

But it has emerged would-be attackers were caught on at least two occasions trying to smuggle knives into EU referendum campaign rallies attended by Mr Farage.

Threats deemed “credible” by police are also thought to have been made against his two daughters, aged 11 and 16.

A source reportedly told a Sunday newspaper: “While there was a campaign to fight and a cause to stand up for, he put up with the s***.

“He’s not running away but it’s part of the mood music of a modern politician.”

It’s testimony to his authenticity: Nigel Farage is not controlled opposition and powers that be would like nothing more than to have him removed from the political limelight. Permanently, if possible.

Apart from threats against his daughters and knives being smuggled into campaign rallies there have been what look suspiciously like two other attempts to assassinate Farage.

In May 2010 while out campaigning the light aircraft he was travelling in crashedafter a banner it was towing became entangled, or so an inquiry found. Three years later and the pilot of the plane, Justin Adams, was found dead.

Then in January this year the wheels of the car he was travelling came-off in highly suspicious circumstances. According to police all the nuts on all four wheels had been loosened. Mechanics who examined the car afterwards were “absolutely certain” that this was deliberate. Ed.
