The European Saudi Organization for Human Rights (ESOHR) is pleased to inform you of our upcoming event: ‘The Reality of Torture in Saudi and the role of local and international actors’.  This event coincides with the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture.

This event comes in response to the alarming human rights situation in Saudi Arabia following reports of gross violations.

Our panelists are made up of experts, specialists and activists who will address multiple aspects of torture in Saudi Arabia:

1. HANI Abdelwahab — United Nation Committee against Torture(CAT).

2. René Wildangel — Amnesty International Germany.

3. Gerald Staberock — Secretary General for World Organization Against Torture OMCT.

4. Taha AlHajji — Saudi Lawyer & HRD.

5. Zena Aleisa (Moderator) – Research Associate representing ESOHR.
