Centers for Disease Control Quiet about Open Border Policy. Why?

Who is telling the Centers for Disease Control to stand down on illegal immigration?
Making certain that nefarious diseases do not enter our country should be integral to the workings of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). For logic would suggest that to control a disease, one must control its movement or introduction. When illegal immigrants flow into the United States, the CDC cannot do their job. For this reason alone, the CDC should be protesting that which is transpiring regarding illegal immigration. They should be demanding a secure border. The apparent conclusion is that this agency has been politicized. Just one more on the list.
From the CDC website, we learn of their mandate.
“A medical examination is mandatory for all refugees coming to the U.S. and all applicants outside the U.S. applying for an immigrant visa. Aliens in the United States who apply for adjustment of their immigration status to that of permanent resident are also required to be medically examined. Aliens applying for nonimmigrant visas (temporary admission) may be required to undergo a medical examination at the discretion of the consular officer overseas or immigration officer at the U.S. port of entry, if there is reason to suspect that an inadmissible health-related condition exists.”
Are these guidelines being adhered to?
“The health-related grounds include those aliens who have a communicable disease of public health significance, who fail to present documentation of having received vaccination against vaccine-preventable diseases, who have or have had a physical or mental disorder with associated harmful behavior, and who are drug abusers or addicts.”
The wisdom of the on the books laws, passed by those prior to this administration’s adulteration of the legal system, is clear. To prevent the spread of disease, immigrants must be filtered. There must be a process.
The events on our southern border have prevented the CDC from executing crucial parts of their mission statement. Yet they protest not. Crickets. Their silence does this nation a tremendous disservice.
We certainly wonder if a protest from the CDC will be prompted regarding lax immigration in the event that some unwanted viruses, or other health conditions, run rampant through our country. (There are suggestions that this may be occurring). Who will be responsible for standing down? Maybe some hard drives will disappear.
